BCIP Engagement Sessionadmin February 4, 2017
On behalf of Public Works and Government Service Canada’s Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP), I would like to invite you to the BCIP Engagement Session on May 20, 2015. You are receiving this invitation because your organization represents a sector of the Canadian economy that is targeted by our program.
The objective of the session is to determine possible ways to improve the operation of the program. We will be sending advance copies of a short list of discussion questions, and written submissions will be accepted.
The BCIP is a specialized procurement method which purchases innovative, pre-commercial goods and services. These are then matched with government departments to undergo testing and validation. The program releases an annual Call for Proposals and competitively evaluates submissions in partnership with the National Research Council – Industrial Research Assistance Program. Top-ranked proposals are made available to federal departments, and once matched with a testing partner they are awarded a contract.
We encourage participants to join us in-person to facilitate conversation.
Please RSVP before Friday, May 15th to Bruno Baurin at Bruno.firstname.lastname@example.org
We thank you in advance for providing your expertise to ensure the ongoing success of the Build in Canada Innovation Program. If you are not able to attend this session in Halifax, but would like to participate by WebEx, please advise us and we will make the arrangements for you.
