Renewable Biofuels in Canada

The Government of Canada is beginning to view renewable biofuels as a real game-changer for accelerating the economy. In order to really take advantage of the sector, Canada will have to make careful policy adjustments and focused public investments in research and development. Atlantic Canada is home to a large biomass resource (from our traditional agriculture, forestry and marine sectors) and is poised to make a dramatic entrance into the industry. What can Canada do to give our researchers the flexibility and resources they need to develop innovative technologies for renewable biofuels and attract the right kind of investors?
