What are non-timber forest products (NTFPs)?
Non-timber forest products (NTFP) are the goods and services provided by the forests other than conventional wood products (timber and pulp).  They include medicinal plants, resins, saps, essential oils, fruits, nuts, vegetables, fish and game, greenery, and a range of ecological goods and services such as clean water, wildlife habitat, and aesthetics.

Are you a company interested in meeting researchers that can solve your R&D challenges? Are you a researcher interested in meeting companies looking for new collaborations? Please join the University of New Brunswick’s Office of Research Services for the Energy Research Connector on November 25th, 2015 at 1:00PM. This networking event is designed to introduce companies to the appropriate research expertise and funding systems.

Topics of interest:
* Renewable Energy (Hydroelectric, Wind, Solar)
* Electrical Power
* Nuclear Power
* Alternative Fuels
* Petroleum & Gas Industries

The Connector will be composed of 3-minute presentations (“pitches”) from companies and researchers. Companies will present short overviews of their businesses and the research expertise they are seeking. Researchers will present their research interests and expertise and the potential application to industry.

To register as a presenter:
1. Register on Eventbrite as either Industry (Presenter) or Researcher (Presenter).
2. Contact partner@unb.ca for the appropriate PPT template.
NOTE: Presentations will not be accepted after Friday, November 20th, 2015.
